Ulduar, the guild and future?

Okay late last year we progressing nicely thru Ulduar and now we are not progressing and finishing content that i would like us to finish . .

Numerous senior members are GONE? Without anything said to the general guild members. . i only know via comments here and there. . .

I personally would like to see something anything said to give me an idea of whats going on?

Last night we ran Onyxia again . . yeah thats great its quick and sometimes not painless but its not progressing the guild thru content.

I personally would like to see us finish Ulduar . .but im not in charge . . im not an officer and to be honest I dont know whose in charge or whose running things anymore. .Habi is around for a few more weeks at best. . Rose and Xorn are around. . other than that I am not sure who the hell is in charge.

I just really would like to know whats happening to this little guild that I really loved joining. I know I was late to the ride but I really would like to see us clear Ulduar and move thru TOC. With the new dungeon system making it pretty easy for gear I think that working on teamwork and guild coordination in Ulduar would be very very easy. Heck maybe even see us try some of the hard modes .. i could see us clearing Ulduar with a solid 10 man team within 30 days. . at least 1 raid a week and extending the run as long as we could.

i dont know why we did not take advantage of this. . .

I do not want to compose an angry, a sob nor a frustratingly hard to read essay of an answer to you right at this moment John hon. ( I think i have written/ re-written this post about 5 times so far)

So for the long and short of it..

Tanks. . i love this guild and what you all have done for me. . i just dont want to see something has always made me proud. . when I was on Uldum I always knew the Idiots could be helpful . . when you all made the jump to Shu'Halo it made it easier for me to talk all of the others into making the jump too, the ones from Blade of Thrall ..

You guys have helped make this game fun. I just dont want to lose you all . . .

I don't want to lose them either, but I can definitely understand giving up the game - be that for a while or for good. I've given it up several times myself. You have to chose your vices/entertainment carefully, and WOW isn't right for some people right now.

But I really miss seeing everyone online and especially raiding with them. Tbone, Dwarf, Ann, Argi, Oduh.... Heck! I even miss Sploot! Speaking of which - did he transfer servers or delete his account?!?!?!?

I guess the issue is now - Right there are 6 core raiders from the last 6 months that are no longer online - 7 if you count Dulcita. Not only that, but the MT & OT & 3 healers from the core raiding group!

Psy's done a great job organizing raids lately & I really appreciate that. I don't know what happened Thurs, but Wednesday he had to bring in 4 non-guildies for Ony. That's great! But I think VI's future is in jeopardy since we're having problems filling out a 10 man. The random heroics already make it to where we rarely do guild groups to finish those for our frost emblems. Finding 5 people online in VI is tough sometimes anyway! We will have people leave for other guilds to do ICC or other content if we haven't already.

I want to see ICC.
I want to do TotC 10 man.
I want to finish Ulduar
& I want to do it with Ann, Alan, Trav Josh & Gwen....

ok, I'm rambling now. Anyway, I really only see 2 solutions. Recruit or Merge with another guild. And I don't like the idea of either one....

Oh how I miss you all soooo much! Josh (Ole,Kikk) and I actually canceled our accounts, just for the time being. Josh was getting bored, and I just never logged on much anymore.

As some of you may or may not know, we are expecting our first little troll in our lives (haha I hope it's cuter than a troll) I have been having a hard time with not feeling like my usual self and feeling blah and nauseous all the time so I haven't really felt like playing WoW. I'm ending my 13th week and will be starting the second trimester next week and I'm hoping I'll start to feel better. Even so, I'm still not sure where that leaves me and the game. I realize we should both try to get in as much game time as we can because come late July, neither of us will have any time.

I know a lot of people don't play for the social aspect of it, but that is one of the main reasons I played. So the hardest part for me is not getting to spend online time with those VI members who I've grown so close to the past few years. I really, really hope we'll be able to start something up someday soon because I do miss you all a lot!

What's happening now has happened before, and as always the VI will continue on.
People need to break for a while, do other things, spend time with family & freinds away from the computer. We cant always do everything we want and given that a majority of the VI has been made up of those with families, full time work, mortgages and other committments, we've never put any conditions on guild membership as far as participation is concerned.

Saying that, we understand that everyone is different and has different wants and needs from the game. The LFG system now makes it easier to find groups and get emblems for gear. Yes we're not doing 10/25man raids but most of the 10man content is puggable these days with 25man remaining for the larger & more active raiding guilds.

1) I am all for taking breaks when you get burned out and need time and hell if you dont want to come back thats cool too. I was just bummed that I learned out of the blue a bunch of people just stopped playing totally with no prior anything. Was a bit saddened.

2) Yes the LFG thing is fine for 5 mans.

BUT i do not want to pug 10 mans. I like doing the 10 mans a a guild to progress. And I would much rather complete these things with VI then anyone.

BTW miss all of you so very much, had to come check the forums. Seeing as they've blocked face book at work and I haven't even all of you on there...It's been so long. And I'm down for a final frontier type road trip anytime G...I'm hoping someday soon I will find the time to sit back relax and get some DPS on...anyways, I just wanted to drop by and let ya know I was thinking of ya guys....Hopefully I can catch ya all someday in game, I'm thinking I may be trying to get back into it soon, school has been stressing me out lately, MAG and CoD aren't cutting it, I miss the times spent with my guildies....but until than, I hope all is well and pray thee that Matilda continues to shine her blessings on all of you...
