Post subject: Whither the VI in Northrend? |
|
|
So...has everyone decided which of the 2 (3 if you count Ebon Hold) Northrend starting zones to invade? Borean Tundra or Teh Howling Fjord? Would be nice to have a sginificant VI presence in at least one of the zones.
Any (relevant) thoughts?

I will do my best to go to the least populated place, if possible.
My guess is whichever one is on the left, geographically. _________________

from mine and Argis experince in beta, Howling Fjord was less populated than BT. Both will still be populated up the whiz wang tho. BT is from Ogi and HF is from UC. Seeing that more people use Ogi as a hub i would say BT on our server will be harder hit than HF.
Just my observations n all mind you. I would suggest hitting HF first then bouncing to BT once initial clutter has cleared out.. both areas have tons of quests and alot you wont want to miss.
myself. I will be racing to catch up to you from Ebon Hold. I know the starting area well, I did it twice, so i can wiz through it and get blasting through outlands..
Just dont get too far ahead of me.. I wanna instance with you all =) _________________

Since the Borean Tundra is where the borean frog is, that is where I am going first. I see that is also where the steam frog is so I'll get 2 in one shot... yay critters! _________________

BTW.. it looks like everyone might be needing to upgrade their accounts. From a wow account to a blizzard(battlenet) account. We had to do it in beta and that is how we got Chilly ( i miss Chilly).. If it is something that HAS to happen then dont sweat it.. its not a big deal and takes a few minutes.

Same here Don't pass me up.... pls?? Of course I understand since I have a 3mo old and I will be hard pressed to play However, at least I will be able to breeze through the DK starting area since I did it at least once so that I could read all the flavor text early

I'm thinking I may wait as much as a week before even generating a DK. It pretty much depends on when my copy of the game arrives at the store and I make my way over to pick it up.

| My plan was to level at least 2 of my characters concurrently. I'll probably toss Brosa in one place and Sathelossa in another. I think Brosarii might stay 70 for a while. No idea when I'm gonna get Sathe Jr up there. |

I'm just hoping to get in to some zone and spend some time there. Work is kinda crazy at the moment, so I'm not likely to be able to do a Banzai to 80 like I did to 70
I think I'll likely start out in Howling Fjords... I kinda liked it down there.
Thanksfully I spent most of my time in beta playing the DK, so It's all still going to be new _________________

I think I'm gonna take it slow with my shaman this time. I wanna see everything as I level, so I'll be bouncing from area to area a lot, I'm sure.
When I get comfortable with Kikk at 80, I'll power level my mage and whatever other straggler alts I have. _________________

I've decided to start my priest in Howling Fjords tonight. Will probably move to Borean Tundra at some point to get flight paths, etc.
If you're in the Fjords tonight, gimme a tell and we can group up for whatever looks fun; maybe an instance, maybe some quests. Or perhaps I'll just fish a bit...

I'm not picking up my copy tonight. I'll do it tomorrow when I feel like going out. _________________
